Sea Otter instructors are carefully chosen for their integrity, love of children and strength in the water.  Each instructor is CPR/First Aid certified and must complete our exclusive training program including apprenticeship.

Ongoing continued training through the United States Swim School Association and other organizations are offered throughout the year.  Sea Otter teachers excel in building a loving and trusting bond with each swimmer to ensure maximum success.

Sea Otter Swim Lessons is own and operated by Paul and Rebecca Sassenrath. As the founders and original owners of Sea Otter Swim Lessons, Paul and Rebecca are excited to continue to bring stability, vision and support to the high quality learn to swim program that has been a tradition in the Loomis Basin for more than 20 years. The Sassenraths bring a rich blend of experience in business, swim instruction and relationships with people to Sea Otter Swim Lessons so that children and their families are able to learn to swim in a warm and joyful environment. Paul and Rebecca reside in Loomis along the lovely Secret Ravine Creek behind the Brace Road Pool. They have recently enjoyed entering the life adventure of becoming Grandparents and look forward to many seasons of children and adults learning to swim for Life!
