Policies
Please take a moment to read through this information as we strive to maintain a fun and successful learning environment.
Billing
Payment will be withdrawn on the first of each month for the upcoming month’s lessons. You must provide a credit or debit card when you register for recurring monthly payments.
To pay by cash or check, payment must be received by the 25th of the previous month. (For example, payment for May’s lessons need to be paid by April 25 if paying with cash or check, otherwise the card on file will be ran on the first). Any changes to credit card information must also be provided by the 25th of the month.
There is a $20 fee for rejected credit cards, returned checks, and late payments.
Withdrawing from lessons
Lessons are ongoing. We require 30-days’ notice to end lessons. To end lessons, fill out this form
Supervision
Children must have an adult onsite during their entire lesson. Please do not leave children unsupervised.
Missed Lesson
If you are going to miss a lesson, notify the office in advance to receive passes to Family Swim, including immediate family and two guests. Make up lessons are not available. Family swim passes do not expire and there is no limit to the amount of family swims you can receive. Please notify the office with at least 2 hours notice if your swimmer will be absent from lessons to receive your pass. Report absence HERE
Semi-Private Lessons
In the event that only one student is scheduled for a semi-private, the instructor will teach a 20-minute private for the price of a semi-private.
Tardy
If you are late to lessons, the instructor will teach for the remainder of the assigned lesson time. Lessons will not be extended to accommodate late arrivals. Please notify the office if you are running late.
Parking
Please park in the main lot. The back and church lots are not available for Sea Otter use. If you have family or friends who would like to watch your child’s lesson, please carpool.
Diaper Policy
All children under four years old must wear the appropriate swim layers to enter our pool. See the diaper policy here.
Our swim diapers may be purchased year round in our office and seasonally at local retailers.
Pets
No pets are allowed on the premise, with the exception of service animals.
Closure
An in-house credit will be put on your account in the event that Sea Otter needs to close the pool. This credit can be applied toward future lessons. In the event that the teacher is ill or unable to teach lessons, a substitute teacher will be provided.
