At Sea Otter Swim Lessons, safety is a big deal to us.
We believe swimmers learn best when they feel comfortable, valued, accepted, and secure.

We provide a safe learning environment for each swimmer by showing them respect, using appropriate tone and language, and speaking to each swimmer’s level of understanding.

Our instructors maintain their full attention on each swimmer during lessons and ensure they are positioned safely in the pool. We also require each staff member to maintain a current CPR/First Aid certification.

Knowing CPR can make a difference

According to the American Heart Association, 88 percent of cardiac arrests occur at home. The life you save with CPR could be someone you love: a child, a spouse, a parent, or a friend.

Properly administering CPR can be the difference between life and death. CPR performed by bystanders has been shown to save lives and improve outcomes in drowning victims. However, seventy percent of Americans feel helpless to act during a cardiac emergency because they don’t know how to administer CPR or they’re afraid of hurting the victim.

If a person has a cardiac arrest, survival depends on immediately getting CPR from someone nearby. Effective CPR provided immediately after sudden cardiac arrest can double or triple a victim’s chance of survival.1

Get CPR Certified in case of an emergency and be confident that you can make a difference in a loved one’s life!
