Diaper Policy

Children under three: Must wear two diapers, one disposable swim diaper and one non-disposable cloth swim diaper (even if potty trained).

Children three to four years old: Fully potty-trained swimmers must wear an approved non-disposable swim diaper.

If your swimmer is not fully potty trained, regardless of age, they must wear a disposable swim diaper and a non-disposable cloth swim diaper.

Our approved swim diapers may be purchased year-round in our onsite retail shop and seasonally at local retailers. Children ages three and younger who are not wearing an approved swim diaper will not be permitted to enter the pool.

Private Lessons

Private lessons are a great option for new swimmers, those who are fearful in the water, or swimmers who want individual, focused attention. Students will develop water safety and swimming skills and be able to try new things with the safety net of a trained and caring instructor.

Semi-Private Lessons

Semi-private lessons teach cooperation and teamwork. Swimmers work together in semi-private lessons. They play games, practice water safety, and learn to encourage one another, respect individual differences, listen, and cooperate in a small group setting. Children 4 to 16 years old can be in a Semi-Private Lesson and will be paired with another swimmer of similar age and swimming skill. If your child has never had swim lessons before or is uncomfortable in the water, we suggest starting in a Private Lesson first. This will allow them to get comfortable in the water and learn water safety skills with one-on-one instruction.

Swim Levels and Skills

See How Swimmers Progress Through Our Program

We have eight swim levels within our program. Swimmers will be placed into a swim level depending upon their ability and comfort in the water.

Each level is made up of five skills. Once a swimmer successfully performs a skill in three consecutive lessons, they master that skill.

After a swimmer has mastered all of the skills within a level, they will pass that level and move onto the next.

Each time your swimmer masters a skill or passes a level, you will receive an email announcing the new skill attained or level they passed.
